administered. It’s a strategy very much like waiting until you’re 60 before

I really agree with Dr. Samuel, the stake for all early childhood professional is the ability to help the children realize their full potentials. This should be the goal of all of us in the field Of Early childhood. Maria Montessori said that “The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six.” we all have to be determined to help the children realize their God given potentials.
ReplyDeleteI also chose the quote from Louise Derman-Sparks. I have the same passion. A person is as he thinks; what better time to start shaping and molding thought processes than in early childhood. The results are limitless to the many outcomes of that child's life and it is a good feeling knowing I helped to shape that one.
ReplyDeleteAs Ann T said, "early intervention is the key and should continue throughout the family life cycle." As parents, we are responsible for teaching our children. Every child need the same healthy start so they can teach their children. Then the healthy family life cycle begins.
ReplyDeleteLouise Derman-Sparks' quote was one that stood out to me upon watching the video during week 2. I also wanted to go into education to contribute to the world in a positive way. I had a definite desire to rid the world of injustice. While I still want to make a difference, I now understand that I can't "fix" every child or problem. My goal is to provide a stable classroom environment where children can explore, learn, and grow their curiousity.
